What Our Clients Say

  • "Restoring an historic home is a complex and delicate undertaking, requiring not only technical expertise but also a deep respect for the building’s original character. Tommy O’Neill and the team at Beverly Cabinets and Construction exceeded our expectations as they helped us rebuild and restore the Paul & Jean Harris Home, an historic property on Longwood Drive that now proudly serves as a museum to preserve the history of Paul Harris and the early days of Rotary. Beyond his technical skill, Tommy O’Neill was a true partner in this project. His professionalism, open communication, and willingness to collaborate made the process smooth and efficient. He worked closely with our team, always responsive to our vision and needs while offering expert guidance to navigate challenges. We highly recommend Beverly Cabinets and Construction to anyone seeking superior craftsmanship, dedication, and a contractor who truly cares about the integrity of their work."

  • "Tom O'Neill transformed the kitchen in my mid-century home in Elmwood Park. He opened the entire first floor, and gave me the entertaining space and kitchen I love. I love to cook and entertain and thanks to his design I do both in a kitchen that maximizes work space and looks great. It truly a cook lovers kitchen. I now entertain while visiting with my guests. Tom paid attention to every detail. He designed beautiful lighting for the space that was not only beautiful but practical. He incorporated the original mid-century features into a modern and beautiful living space. I would recommend Beverly Cabinets and Construction to anyone looking to update their home."

  • "Tom O'Neill's work is TOP NOTCH and he is RELIABLE and HONEST--rare qualities in the home renovation business. Tom beautifully finished our unfinished basement in our first historic Beverly home. He transformed the space from ugly storage space to a stunning usable space for our family. He also added built-ins and wainscoting in our first and second floor hallways. When we purchased a new home La Grange, Tom was our first call for refurbishments. I HIGHLY recommend Tom and Beverly Cabinets & Construction!"

    Matthew Datillo

  • "We are a long time Beverly family and have been using Beverly Cabinets and Tom O'Neal for years on our old (1905) historic beverly home for large and small projects. Tom and his team and subcontractors have done great work and were always reliable, honest, fair, conscientious and sensitive to the nuances to old home like ours. They have remodeled a bathroom; kitchen area; replaced a front porch; completely remodeled a coach house apartment; sidewalk and driveway replacement ; and a host of smaller projects. They -- and their terrific contractor's- are our "go to" people for our home improvement needs. Highly recommended."

    James Noonan

  • "When we decided to do a major renovation to our older home, I knew that we would need to find someone with extensive experience with the old homes that are so much a part of the character of Beverly. Beverly Cabinets and Construction was the right choice for this job. The renovation called for removing walls, completely redoing the kitchen, and converting two upstairs bedrooms into a bedroom/bathroom master suite. I had other "must haves" as well, such as venting the kitchen range hood to the outside, and having a free-standing tub in the master bath. Any time renovations are undertaken on an historic home, demolition can reveal things which may complicate plans. One such complication in our century house was how the home had been converted from gas lighting to electricity. Nevertheless, there was no problem that couldn't be solved by Tommy and his roster of excellent tradesmen. I recommend Beverly Cabinets and Construction to anyone looking to do any scale of renovation to their existing home."
